We are currently looking for Mental Health Social Workers to work for a 3 star awarded local authority in the South East of England. You will be responsible for the implementation and co-ordination of complex assessments, the purchase of agreed packages of care, and the monitoring of service contracts in partnership with the client group and agencies and health professionals. The client requires all applicants to have post qualification experience within mental health, knowledge of relevant key legislation and experience of managing a complex case load. The successful applicant will have the ability to organise and prioritise work and manage time effectively, have strong influencing and negotiating skills with clients and other health professionals. All applicants must be registered with the GSCC and have a current CRB. Car drivers are desirable although car hire options are available for non car owners.
